Why? Because we can! In fact, you say so yourself: “Medicare is a top driver of these unsustainable costs.”

Maybe that’s where we should start. How can we pay reduce the amount of money we feed the beast? Let’s start with the extraordinary costs demanded by the traditional medical model.

Doctors love to run tests. But are they necessary? Quantum physics tells us the observer affects the outcome of the experiment. How many doctors order a test, and find what they’re looking for?

Stop Big Pharma. Start with regulating the amount of money they can spend on advertising drugs that do more harm than good. Make them test and PROVE their drugs are safe before they deliver them to an unsuspecting market.

Quit subsidizing agribusiness to produce more grains to feed to more factory-farmed animals. Encourage small, local farmers so they can compete in growing healthy, sustainable food.

Find a way to encourage positive health habits, like eating real food. Processed and fast food is not nourishing, so how can our bodies be healthy? Healthy bodies require less health care, which costs less. Duh.

And puh-LEASE, Mr Ryan! You ask: “Who should be making healthcare decisions for you and your family?” Don’t turn this system over to the insurance industry! Anyone who has private insurance knows the industry is committed to spending as little as possible to make as much money as possible. One of the reasons Medicare works is because seniors can get the care they need without being turned down by an insurance company.

Sorry. I’m not convinced by your slick video. When you can begin to address the true problems of high healthcare costs, I’ll listen.dlmosherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15577674372810897992noreply@blogger.com
